The Shihab Thangal Center, named after the late Panakkad Syed Muhammadali Shihab Thangal, has been operating in association with Kalamassery Medical College for more than a decade. Over the years, the center has undertaken numerous charitable projects, including distributing medicines to the poor and needy patients, providing pensions to daily wage earners, and offering free ambulance services to those in need.

The center is providing ambulance services, pensions to people with chronic illnesses and other charitable services to the most nceded in the society.The trust started with the services of a mobile clinical laboratory to diagnose lifestyle diseases along with cancer, and diseases relat- ed to liver, heart and the lungs at an early stage, these diseases are causing endless suffering and financial burden on people.
